If you ever needed to know whether there was a difference between how Democrats and Republicans view corruption, look no further than what has happened since we learned Rod Blagojevich tried to sell Barack Obama's Senate seat (something I have little reason to doubt, considering it's Fitz bringing these charges).
Within hours, Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn, Attorney General Lisa Madigan, Comptroller Dan Hynes and a long line of other elected officials called for him to go. The state legislature--a body where we have double-digit majorities in both houses--is already planning a special section to have him impeached and removed from office.
Does anyone else think there's a difference between how Democrats and Republicans view corruption?
